A man in his sixties is dead after he lost control of his vehicle on a busy Langford road today.
It happened on Veterans Memorial Parkway near Meaford Avenue around 3:30. Westshore RCMP say it appears a medical issue caused the driver to lose control of his Chevrolet pickup truck and slam into a tree.
He was taken to hospital, but died shortly after.
There was another passenger in the car, but she is expected to survive her serious injuries.
The parkway is closed in the blocks surrounding the accident while crews clean up the debris.
