An 8-year-old-girl girl from Ohio terminated Arnold Schwarzenegger during a chess match at Arnold Sports Festival’s Kids Expo on Saturday.

Wearing a purple flower in her hair Emma Cheng squared off against the former body builder and governor of California who also happens to be a chess enthusiast as well. Cheng is rated fourth among chess players under the age of nine in the United States and ranks third out of all grade students in Ohio, according to CNN.

The much-hyped event between man and child was cut short according to the Columbus Dispatch, after Schwarzenegger abandoned the game to move to play a second game against another child.

“This is not called a game,” she told The Dispatch. “I practiced so much just for this?”

When Schwarzenegger returned to have his photo taken with Cheng, she asked if he was going to finish the game which drew a round of laughs from the crowd.

Schwarzenegger continued to play the precocious grade schooler before he eventually forfeited the game after falling behind.

“I’m going to tell my friends that I almost beat Arnold. But he quit the game,” she told reporters.
