Elderly man dies after being struck by vehicle in west-end Toronto

TORONTO – A man in his 80s has died of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle in west-end Toronto Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Millwick Drive near Islington and Steeles Avenue West.

The victim was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
