TORONTO – A tie that appears to be the one Rob Ford wore on Nov. 5, 2013, when he admitted smoking crack cocaine has gone for more than $16,000 on eBay.

There were 111 bids on the tie over the seven-day auction with the winner putting in a bid of $16,100 for the tie featuring logos from NFL teams past and present.

Other items up for auction included a Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey that went for $1,550, and patterned pants he was photographed wearing on a shopping trip to Wal-Mart that sold for $660.

Ford’s assistant has said the former Toronto mayor is selling items on eBay as part of a spring cleaning.

Ford became internationally notorious when he admitted having smoked crack cocaine, “probably in one of my drunken stupors,” while apologizing and insisting he was not an addict.
