RAW VIDEO: Police shooting in Brossard
MONTREAL – A 34-year-old man is in critical condition following a police shooting in Brossard.
At around 1 a.m. Tuesday, officers from the Longueuil police force responded to reports of a hold-up at a gas station on Taschereau Blvd.
They located a suspect vehicle at the IKEA warehouse at the corner of Highway 30 and Grande Allee in Saint-Hubert.
Once on the scene, gunshots were fired and the suspect was rushed to hospital.
The Sûrété du Québec have now taken over the investigation.
Policy requires an independent investigation when one police force is involved in a shooting.
