PINEHOUSE, Sask. – Two people are dead after a fatal two vehicle collision in northern Saskatchewan. The collision occurred Saturday shortly after 7 a.m. on Highway 914 approximately three kilometres north of the Highway 165 junction.
A man and woman, the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles, were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims’ names have not been released.
The driver of the other vehicle received medical treatment on location.
RCMP say road conditions were icy and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
