Canadian Cowboy Association pulling out of Agribition

REGINA – The Canadian Cowboys Association is saddling up and pulling out of the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina.

The association says after a 10-year run, it will transfer its finals to Swift Current starting in 2016.

President Shylo Claypool says the move will give them a chance to expand the event, get more youth involved and generate more money.

Agribition C-E-O Marty Seymour says the decision is surprising, but promises that rodeo will still be part of the event.
