EDMONTON – Edmonton police were called to a shooting in northeast Edmonton early Friday morning.
Officers responded to a condo complex near 130 Ave. & Victoria Trail shortly before 3 a.m., after receiving reports of shots fired in the area.
They arrived to find a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police do not believe the shooting was random, and believe the victim knew his attacker.
Charges have not yet been laid, and police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
