TORONTO – The rush hour commute could be a slow one Tuesday afternoon as a band of flurries is expected to move through the Greater Toronto Area.
Environment Canada issued a weather advisory for the city of Toronto shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday ahead of the approaching storm.
The weather agency is forecasting that two centimetres of snow may fall quickly beginning at 5 p.m., moving east and hitting Oshawa by 6 p.m. The snow could cause low visibility and slow driving.
Environment Canada warned the snow, mixed with high winds, could whip up the fallen snow and suddenly lower otherwise good visibility.
