Winnipeg Transit bus lands in North End yard

WINNIPEG – A Winnipeg Transit bus and an SUV ended up in the yard of a North End home in slippery conditions Tuesday morning.

Global Winnipeg’s traffic helicopter captured aerial footage of the bus at Polson Avenue and Airlies Street. The SUV wasn’t visible behind it, but when the bus was moved, the other vehicle could be spotted.

One person was injured and is in stable condition, police said.

Roads were slippery in Winnipeg Tuesday morning and there were multiple minor crashes.
