REGINA – Two men have been arrested and charged after a violent robbery in Regina over the weekend.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Albert Street on Saturday night to respond to a fight in progress.
Reports indicate that prior to this two 29-year-old males were outside a business when three suspects approached them and began assaulting one of the suspects demanding money.
The other male tried to stop the robbery and was also assaulted. Both victims were brought to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police dogs were able to track two of the suspects to the 2100 block of Queen Street where they were found and arrested.
27-year-old Jason Lee Bird and 25-year-old Adrian Preston Brass are both facing charges of ‘assault with the intent to steal’ charges.
Both men made their first court appearance on Monday morning.
