PENTICTON — It was a battle of experience at the BC Fruit Growers Association’s annual general meeting in Penticton this weekend, with two familiar faces vying for presidency.

Incumbent Fred Steele and former president Jeet Dukhia were both after the top role, but Saturday voters elected Steele to run the BCFGA for a second consecutive year.
The fruit growers association represents 520 commercial tree fruit growers in the Okanagan. The 126 annual AGM wrapped up in Penticton Saturday afternoon.
