Most of Manitoba under extreme cold warnings

WINNIPEG – The final weekend of Festival du Voyageur is going to be a cold one.

Winnipeggers woke up to a sunny -27C feeling like -39 Saturday morning. Most of Manitoba is under extreme cold warnings this weekend.

Environment Canada says Saturday night temperatures could drop to -33C and feel like -45 with the extreme wind chill in Winnipeg.

While the sun will also be out for much of Sunday, temperatures are expected to reach a high of -21C, feeling like -45 with the wind chill.
