Road conditions a factor in morning crash that killed Pilot Butte man, 24

REGINA – A 24-year-old man from Pilot Butte, Sask. has died after he lost control of his car and was hit by a semi-tractor trailer just west of the town Friday morning.

The man has been identified as Nicklas Innendorfer by the RCMP.

He was driving eastbound at approximately 7 a.m. on Highway 46 when the collision occurred; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Road conditions are believed to have played a factor in the crash, according to the RCMP.

Both vehicles were occupied by one person at the time. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The highway was closed for several hours while the collision was investigated.

Pilot Butte is approximately 20 kilometres east of Regina.
