TORONTO – The Toronto Police Services Board will meet today to discuss a report on Pan Am Games security as well as a youth survey on leadership on the force.
Chief Bill Blair is scheduled to present the latest information regarding integrated policing practices for the upcoming 2015 Pan Am & Parapan Am Games to take place this summer.
The report will outline responsibilities and roles between the various regional police services and private security firms.
The meeting will also look at survey conducted among youth in Toronto on the subject of leadership of the Toronto Police Service as well as their relationship with officers.
A report on Toronto police’s controversial “carding” policy will not be reviewed at this meeting but has been moved to a special public session on March 2 at 4 p.m.
