TORONTO – The 501 Queen streetcar route is diverting both ways due to downed wires at the intersection of Queen Street and York Street Friday morning.

The Toronto Transit Commission says shuttle buses are also running to help with service.

There’s no timeframe when full streetcar service will resume.
