An Australian woman says she was tending to her friend’s garden in the city of Toowoomba when a snake suddenly latched onto her finger.

The snake in question? A death adder – one of the most venomous snakes in the world.

But incredibly, the woman managed to drive herself to a local hospital even as the snake’s venom was coursing through her veins.
