REGINA – Two Regina men have been charged after allegedly breaking into two homes Sunday night.

Police were called around 5:00 p.m. to the 3000 block Rae Street after a resident reported two suspicious men had come through their front door without knocking.

Shortly after, officers received a similar complaint of a break and enter in the 3000 block of Retallack Street.

A resident had reported seeing two men break a window of a neighbouring home, enter the residence, before they emerged a short time later.

Officers used the help of the canine unit to locate and arrest the two suspects.

The investigations later led to the recovery of some break and enter tools, property and belongings stolen from the first property.

26-year-old Joshua Brendan Bird and 30-year-old Matthew Derrick Kaiswatum are both charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The pair made their first court appearance February 9th.
