WATCH: Raw video from the scene of the Île Bizard fire
MONTREAL — Dozens of firefighters were left watching a fire burn a house to the ground on Île Bizard early Monday morning.
The fire began at 1:30 a.m., and firefighters were immediately called to the scene, but were unable to fight the fire due to a lack access to water.
All that remained of the fire-ravaged home were charred beams and studs and the concrete foundation.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but the arson squad is investigating after firefighters discovered evidence that indicated the fire could have been deliberately set.
