HALIFAX – Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run that left a car on its roof.
It happened at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Portland Street and Carver Street in Dartmouth.
Police said a car on Portland Street was hit by a second vehicle that was coming down Carver Street.
The collision flipped the first vehicle, and the female driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second vehicle fled the scene.
Police describe the suspect vehicle as a light coloured Pontiac Grand Am with substantial damage to its front end.
Anyone with information is asked to call Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
