Three teens arrested in Osler, Sask. armed robbery

OSLER, Sask. – Three teens have been charged after an armed robbery north of Saskatoon. The trio were arrested after a retail store in Osler was robbed Wednesday evening.

A masked man entered the store as it was closing around 8 p.m. and demanded money. He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The investigation led to three Osler teens; two are 16 and the other 14. They were arrested on Thursday and Warman RCMP say they have recovered all the cash and smokes that were stolen.

Mounties say numerous other items were seized along with a replica toy handgun.

They have appeared before a justice of peace on charges of robbery with a firearm and wearing a disguise while committing an offence. They have been released from custody on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Saskatoon youth court on March 25.
