Two pedestrians were taken to hospital after being hit by a pickup truck in Surrey last night.
Surrey RCMP arrived at the scene of the accident in the 12200-block of 90th Ave. at 7:30 p.m. to find one of the victims thrown into the ditch and the other by the side of the road.

Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital and treated for possible fractures before being released.
The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. Drugs or alcohol are not considered factors in the collision.
According to RCMP, both pedestrians were walking with their backs to the traffic and wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident.
