HALIFAX – Parts of the Atlantic provinces are under a slew of weather warnings as yet another storm moves into the region.
Environment Canada says parts of central and northern Nova Scotia could get up to 20 centimetres of snow overnight Thursday.
Prince Edward Island is also bracing for up to 20 centimetres of snow.
In New Brunswick, the national weather forecaster has issued extreme cold warnings for northwestern parts of the province, where temperatures could dip to -35 C overnight and Friday morning.
Meanwhile, the entire island of Newfoundland has been warned to expect a messy mix of heavy snow in the west and high winds in the east.
