WINNIPEG – Gas prices are rising again at fuel stations in Winnipeg.
The price of regular gasoline dropped below $1 per litre in November and steadily dropped until the slide halted around 80 cents in mid-January, but it’s been creeping back up and made a 15 cent leap to 96.9 cents early Wednesday afternoon.
Gas is still a bargain compared to the $1.13 it was selling for a year ago, or the $1.30 it reached in June, but analysts said more increases are likely.
