MONTREAL — As part of his trip to Europe, Denis Coderre, the mayor of Montreal will meet with Pope Francis in Rome on Wednesday morning.

According to a statement from city officials, Coderre has been invited by the Archbishop of Montreal, Christian Lépine, to meet with His Holiness, Pope Francis, as part of a general audience in the Vatican City.
