HALIFAX – A medical emergency has caused an Air France flight to make an unexpected landing at Halifax Stanfield International airport on Thursday morning.
Peter Spurway with the Halifax International Airport Authority says the flight landed shortly before 8 a.m.
Spurway wasn’t able to confirm where the plane was headed, but said there were unconfirmed reports it was en route to Paris from Lima, Peru when it landed in Halifax.
He says normally when a passenger needs medical attention he or she is removed from the plane and the flight continues on as normal.
