Man killed in Saskatchewan workplace accident

Saskatchewan occupational health and safety is investigating a fatal workplace accident that killed an 18-year-old. File / Global News

WARMAN, Sask. – Emergency services were called to a workplace accident in the rural municipality of Corman Park at around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Paramedics and Warman firefighters arrived at a business in an industrial area and pronounced an 18-year-old man dead.

His name has not been released at this time.

The initial investigation has found the victim was injured by a piece of machinery.

Saskatchewan RCMP say no other employees were injured.

The investigation has been handed over to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) division of the province’s Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety.
