The incident happened on Thursday, October 23rd, as two groups of men gathered for a prearranged meeting in the 6700 block of 26th Avenue N.E.

The men were gathered inside of two cars which were side by side when someone in one of the vehicles fired shots into the other.

Three days later, 22-year-old Amaninder Singh turned himself in to police.

He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, five counts of failing to comply and multiple firearms offences.
