CALGARY – RCMP have charged a 24-year-old Regina man after discovering $23,000 of marijuana in his vehicle.

Police searched the man’s vehicle in Cochrane, Alberta on Thursday after receiving a report about an impaired driver.

Investigators found 5.5 pounds of marijuana hidden inside a suitcase.

They’ve now charged a 24-year-old Regina man with trafficking a controlled substance. He is awaiting a court date in Cochrane.
