KELOWNA – Hundreds of university students from across Canada and the United States have come to Kelowna for the 2015 Great Northern Concrete Toboggan race. About 430 engineering students will be competing against one another in the fast-paced races on concrete toboggans. The races are the culmination of a lot of hard work as the students have to design and build the toboggans themselves. It’s a project many students spent well over a year on.
