Fog causing delays at Kelowna airport

KELOWNA — Flights are in ‘catch-up mode’ at Kelowna International Airport this morning.

Last night’s heavy fog is to blame.

“We had multiple cancellations due to zero visibility,” says airport spokesperson, Jenelle Hynes.

“This in turn meant the overnight flights didn’t get in so it affected a few of the morning start up flights.”

Hynes says departures and arrivals are returning to normal.
