VANCOUVER – RCMP in Lillooet is renewing their call for help to find a missing First Nations woman, who has been missing for more than 30 years.
On August, 23, 1982, Roxanne Elaine Fleming was seen at the Lillooet District Hospital, where she was treated for a broken finger. There have been unconfirmed sightings since then, but the hospital visit was the last time Fleming was confirmed to have been seen.
Mounties say years went by before Fleming was reported missing to police and as a result, many memories of the then 18-year-old had faded. Since her disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however she has not been found.
Fleming would now be 50 years old.
She is described as:
- First Nations female
- 18 years old at the time of her disappearance;
- 5 ft 4 in (163 cm)
- slender build
- brown hair
- brown eyes

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who may know about Fleming’s activities in Lillooet in 1982.
