ABOVE: Mall patrons share their thoughts on the dangerous find.
A 10-centimetre razor blade has been found taped to a shopping cart at CrossIron Mills mall.
An employee working at one of the mall’s stores discovered the blade on Sunday.
Airdrie RCMP say the blade was taped to the side of the cart, and could have easily injured someone pushing it.
CrossIron Mills’ security checked all of the carts at the mall, but didn’t find any other blades.
No injuries have been reported, but RCMP are warning shoppers to report any suspicious activity or tampered carts immediately.
