CALGARY – A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a stabbing in Penbrooke Meadows.
Police were called to the 6000 block of 8th Avenue S.E. shortly after 6 a.m. on Saturday.
They found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to the stomach and chest.
The victim was transported by EMS to hospital with serious injuries. His condition has since been downgraded to life-threatening.
Investigators believe alcohol may have fueled an altercation that led to the stabbing. They said they have one suspect in custody.
Investigators are still unclear on a motive for the attack.
