KELOWNA – A Summerland woman has been charged after a large marijuana grow-op was busted in Kelowna.
In October, Mounties obtained a search warrant for a house on the 1700 block of Kloppenburg Road in the Black Mountain neighbourhood.
Police say 721 marijuana plants were found in a sophisticated growing operation in the basement. Officers also seized a significant amount of cash, dried marijuana and items consistent with drug trafficking. A woman was arrested at the home.
Jennifer Kristen Davy, 32, has been charged with production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Davy makes her first court appearance later this month.
