WINNIPEG – A single-vehicle crash in the northwest corner of the city claimed the life of a woman Wednesday evening.
The 34-year-old driver died following the crash at about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mollard Road and Brookside Boulevard. Police aren’t releasing her name.
The vehicle the woman was driving veered off the road and crashed into a pole. She was taken in critical condition to hospital, where she died.
Traffic analysts were at the scene Wednesday night to investigate the crash.
