At 6:45am we’ll talk more about a locally produced viral video aimed at raising awareness about the impact of K-Cup coffee containers on the environment. “Kill The K Cup” is the creation of Egg Studios along with Social Bean Gourmet Coffee Co. that features a giant monster made of K-Cups destroying downtown Halifax. The video has already garnered more than 70,000 hits on Youtube and in case you missed it, we’ll play it for you tomorrow.

Nova Scotia is reviewing the quality of programs it provides through its regulated child-care centres. The review by the Department of  ducation and Early Childhood Development will also look at improving access to child-care centres and funding for them. At 715am we’ll talk with Education Minister Karen Casey about how it will work and who can take part.

At 7:45am we welcome Mr. Zev Nevo Kulman, new Consul General of Israel to Eastern Canada. Mr. Kulman is making his first visit to the Maritimes this week speaking at various events throughout the city. We’ll get his take on issues facing the Jewish community in light of the terrible attacks in France last week.
