Okanagan forecast: two words – valley cloud

Weather update: Monday January 12th 3:45pm

We are back to the valley cloud with sun at higher elevations scenario for the next few days. A stable situation will prevent vertical motion in our atmosphere, and keep those of us near the valley base socked in. For brighter conditions, strap on the skis or the boards and head to the summits!

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

An upper ridge will remain over our region until Thursday.  There will be some changes ahead when the ridge breaks down, and multiple systems move in bringing the chance of flurries starting Thursday evening.

Details coming up at 5, 6:30 and 11pm!

Tuesday ‘s daytime high range: -1 to +4C
