TORONTO – A 26-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a CN freight train on the Richmond Hill Go line early Friday morning.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. which resulted in delays on the Richmond Hill GO train line.
Police believe the man was walking near the tracks when he was struck by the train and suffered severe head injuries.
The Richmond Hill 06:25 – Union 07:11 train trip was subsequently cancelled Friday.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact police.
