BASS RIVER, N.B. – An arrest warrant has been issued for a 32-year-old Moncton man who’s been charged for failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death.
Richibucto RCMP are looking for Ronald Fairweather in connection to the crash that left a 19-year-old dead on New Years Day.

The accident happened on Route 116 at 4 a.m. The driver of a stolen pick-up truck involved in the crash left the scene before police arrived.
Police believe Fairweather may be driving a four door, grey, 2003 Mazda Protege 5, hatch back vehicle with a broken rear window that is covered with black plastic.
At the request of the family, the name of the 19-year-old man who died in the crash will not be released.
