Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson is reportedly dating a Chinese pop star.
Journalist and columnist Frances Bula reported on her blog on Monday that Gregor Robertson is dating Wanting Qu. She said the information comes from an “extremely reliable source.”
Qu, 31, a very popular Chinese singer, was appointed Vancouver’s Tourism Ambassador to China in 2013. She was raised in Vancouver but is a superstar in her home country, where her videos promote B.C.
Robertson, 50, who split from his wife in 2014, has appeared at numerous work-related events with Qu. In 2013 they were both part of a group that travelled to China to promote visiting Vancouver.
The Mayor’s office has not commented on the matter.
