Okanagan forecast: a drier and warmer trend ahead

Weather update: Tuesday January 6th 5am

The snow has eased off in some areas and by tonight, almost all areas in the valley will be dry.

However as for this morning, the warmer air aloft riding overtop of our valley will bring the risk of sleet or freezing rain with some surface temperatures near freezing.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Heading into tomorrow, temperature will remain near seasonal or slightly above.  Sunny breaks are possible Wednesday and Thursday but valley cloud is also expected. A weak system will bring a chance of flurries to the region at the end of the week.

Tuesday’s daytime high range: -1 to +4C
