TORONTO – An elderly woman who was hit by a car in northwest Toronto two weeks ago has died of her injuries.
Police say the 77-year old victim was struck by a Mercedes while crossing the street at Bathurst near Steeles Ave West on the morning of Dec. 18.

They say the 28-year-old driver remained at the scene.
No names have been released, and there has been no word on whether charges are pending.
