HALIFAX – Halifax RCMP said a 17-year-old boy had to be taken to hospital last night, after he was assaulted with a golf club and knife last night during a home invasion in Lower Sackville, NS.
Police said seven men entered the home on Lennox Drive just before 10:50 p.m. last night. Six of the men were wearing bandanas.
The men assaulted the 17-year-old with a golf club and a knife, then robbed him of a number of electronic items.
The suspects ran away through the back yard before police arrived. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Police said this was not a random act, and the investigation is continuing.
The only unmasked suspect is described as being a white male, 17-years-old, approximately 5’8″ with short brown hair.
One of the masked suspects is described as a white male, 5’11”, thin build, brown hair and wearing a bandana.
The other suspects were white males, all wearing dark bandanas over the lower portion of their faces.
