Surrey RCMP officers are canvassing a neighbourhood in Whalley today as they search for clues in a late night shooting.
Investigators say the victim is in serious but stable condition after being attacked at a home on 142nd Street near 107th Avenue.

He is known to police, and officers say this may have been some type of dispute that escalated.
At this point, they also say there is no reason for the public to be concerned about safety.
They have not been able to interview the victim yet, and therefore have not had an opportunity to identify possible suspects.
