One man injured in downtown stabbing

CALGARY – One man was injured in a stabbing in downtown Calgary on Friday.

It happened in the area of Centre Street and 12th Avenue S.E. around 12:30 p.m.

EMS rushed a man in his 40’s to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable, non-life-threatening.

Police say the two people involved were known to each other.

Officers took one man into custody, and say charges are pending.
