TORONTO – Service along GO Transit’s Lakeshore West line has been suspended after a fatal incident.

Service was suspended shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday. GO Transit is working on getting trains running again but warns there could be delays.

A spokesperson for GO Transit told Global News that a train full of people has been stuck between Port Credit and Clarkson stations for over an hour as a result of the fatality.

Buses are running in place of trains between the Port Credit and Clarkson stops.

The victim has not been identified and it’s not clear how the person died.
