CALGARY – Fire crews were kept busy by a series of small fires in the city’s northwest on Wednesday.
A total of eight garbage and recycling bins were found on fire in a three block radius in the community of Mount Pleasant.

The Calgary Fire Department says the first call came in around 4 a.m.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fires, and say none of them spread to buildings.
All of the fires are considered suspicious.
