Police arrest 7 people after group assault in Dartmouth

HALIFAX – Police have seven people in custody after a group assault on three women in Dartmouth.

Police say the women were attacked and threatened with knives on Windmill road around 9 p.m. Sunday night.

Officers located the suspects as they were allegedly fleeing the area.

The group of suspects is known to the women. Four are underage.

Staff Sgt. Lindsay Hernden says police are still investigating and charges are anticipated sometime Monday morning.
