TORONTO – Two people are under arrest after two abandoned homes were torched overnight in Pickering.
Durham Regional Police say the first fire was set around 10:30 p.m. near Sideline 34 which was followed by another on 7th Concession Road.

A pick-up truck was located in the area of the second fire where police say two people were found and later arrested. Charges are pending.
Police say they are treating the fires as suspicious.
No injuries were reported.
